Parshas Toldos ~ Yaakov & Eisav Cookies
Hey there, boys and girls! Welcome back to the Parsha Studio – Baking Edition.
In Parshas Toldos, we learn how both Yaakov and Eisav honored their parents. When Yitzchak asked Eisav to prepare food for him, Eisav did as his father asked. Similarly, when Rivkah told Yaakov to bring food to his father, Yaakov obeyed his mother’s request.
Our parents work tirelessly to provide us with our daily needs, and it is our duty to honor and respect them. Even if we don’t always see the effort they put in, we must recognize and appreciate their hard work. Let us remember the lesson from Parshas Toldos and strive to show our parents the honor and respect they deserve.
What can you do to show your parents that you appreciate them?
How can you make sure that you are listening to your parents more often?
Today, we will be baking cookies that resemble Yaakov and Eisav, using the marbling technique to create a chocolate Yaakov cookie and a red Eisav cookie. These cookies are not just visually appealing but also delicious. Once you are done baking, ask yourself, with whom will you share these wonderful treats?
