Hi Boys and Girls! Welcome back to the Parsha Studio!
Sukkot, a significant Jewish Yom Tov, serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of unity. The observance of the Mitzvah of Lulav and Esrog emphasizes the need for all the required elements to be united: The Lulav, Esrog, Haddasim, and Aravos. Symbolically, the four species represent the diverse individuals within the Jewish nation, encompassing learners, doers, the simple, and the grand. This serves as a poignant reminder that when every type of person comes together, the world is complete.
Get ready for some ASMR action as we squeeze, stretch, and pop some Esrog slime. Just like the mitzvah of Lulav that requires all four species, slime also needs all the ingredients to create a reaction and become slime! Fluffy slime is similar to regular slime, but adding shaving cream gives it a fun twist. It’s made through a cool chemical process where molecules in the glue and starch bond together. The borax molecules in the starch mix with the glue molecules, creating long polymer chains, similar to those found in flexible plastic, which allows the slime to stretch and bounce without breaking. Cool, right?
