Hey there, boys and girls! Welcome back to the Parsha Studio – Paint Edition.
Hi boys and girls! In Parsha Vayeitzei we learn that Yaakov Avinu was a shepherd for Lavan.
As Jews, we are different from those around us. This can sometimes lead to jealousy from others, even from those who are close to us. The nations of the world may be envious of our special status as Yidden. Fortunately, we have a special shepherd, Hashem who always protects us from any harm that may come our way. He wants us to be safe and secure, which is why the Torah and Mitzvos have been given to us as instructions. While we may not always understand why each Mitzvah is important, we can learn from the sheep and follow our shepherd’s lead. Just as the sheep trust their shepherd completely, we too should trust the wisdom of the Torah and its instructions, knowing that they are there for our benefit.
What are some Mitzvos that you do even though you don’t understand how it is for your benefit?
In what way is Hashem the best shepherd that we could have?
Today, we will be painting an adorable sheep. Follow the step-by-step instructions to create your own masterpiece using a variety of paints and mediums.
