Hi Boys and Girls! Welcome back to the Parsha Studio!
This week’s parsha recounts the incredible journey of the Jewish people through the desert. They spent 40 years traveling through the Midbar, facing numerous challenges along the way. Despite their hardships, they found joy in the desert, with Miriam, the sister of Moshe Rabeinu, having a well of water, and Hashem providing food by sending down the Manna from heaven every morning. Finally, after forty years, the Jewish people arrived in Eretz Yisrael.
Today, we are going to get creative and make a super cool keychain in the shape of Eretz Yisrael. We will mark the plots of land that the Shevatim were given when they entered the land. We’ll use Fimo, a colorful and squishy type of clay that turns hard when baking it in the oven. With this magical clay, we’ll carefully mold a teeny tiny map of Eretz Yisrael that you can hang on your school bag or keys! It’s going to be so much fun!
