Hi Boys and Girls! Welcome back to the Parsha Studio!
In Parshas Ki Sisa, Hashem instructs Moshe to construct the Kiyor, a washstand for the Kohanim in the Mishkan. The Kiyor was made from mirrors donated by the women. It is noteworthy that these mirrors were objects of personal use for the women, yet they chose to donate them for the Mishkan. This act of selflessness was highly valued by Hashem, and He commanded Moshe to use these mirrors for making the Kiyor.
Today, we’re going to have a lot of fun crafting a gorgeous mirror with feathers. Not only will you end up with a beautiful end product, but you’ll also learn some new crafting techniques that you can use to make all sorts of other awesome things. Let’s get started!
