A new study project encouraging Chassidim and bochurim to learn the Rebbe’s Likkutei Sichos is off to a successful start.
The project, initiated in honor of this Yud Shvat, marking 70 years of the Rebbe’s leadership, was created in an effort to capture the inspiration of this special milestone date.
Chassidim worldwide are uniting in a coordinated and consistent regimen of learning 2 of the Rebbe’s sichos on the Parsha each week with the goal of completing all 1,227 sichos of Likkutei Sichos in approximately 8 years.
“Project Likkutei Sichos has wildly exceeded its initial goals,” organizers said. “Since projectlikkuteisichos.org went live less than 48 hours ago, over 500 people have signed up to join this global learning initiative,” they said.
The next goal of the organizers is to reach 770 participants, they said.
There are many ways in which one can participate in the project, whether by joining a local shiur, downloading a podcast, learning with a chavrusa or alone.
In addition, the projectlikkuteisichos.org website will be updated weekly with accessible resources of all kinds, in an effort to support participants in their learning. Multilingual audio and video Shiurim, summaries, review tools, discussion forums and many more resources will become available over time.
“The Rebbe taught that the advent of a new era inspires the urgency to invest refreshed and renewed energies toward our goals. We are therefore launching this unprecedented campaign,” organizers said.
“Please share this project with friends and family and let’s unite the Chabad community worldwide in learning the entire Likkutei Sichos together,” they said.
