Over 120 Jewish Women came together for a Mega Challah Bake in Northeast Pennsylvania.
The Mega Challah Bake was a project of Chabad of the Back Mountain, The Jewish Community Center of Wyoming Valley, and Nshei Chabad of Kingston, and truly unified the entire community.
The Challah Bake promoted unity and peace within the community, and peace for Israel, with all proceeds donated to the Israeli relief effort.
At the event, women formed their challah dough with an ingredient meditation led by Mrs. Rechyl Sirota of Chabad of Back Mountain. Mrs. Noa Rivkin, an Israeli native led Tehillim for the Chayalim, and guided the blessing of Hafrashas Challah. Afterwards, Mrs. Mushky Perl uplifted the crowd with her beautiful vocal performance. Mrs. Shaina Majesky, head of Nishei Chabad of Kingston, chaired the event. Mrs. Majesky remarked that the women danced with joy at the conclusion of the Challah bake as they envisioned the miracles and salvation that we will see, with the help of Hashem.
The Mega Challah Bake was graciously sponsored by:
