Three men attacked and beat an Orthodox Jewish man after he responded to them yelling anti-Semitic expletives at him, the NY Daily News reported.
Police are investigating the incident as a possible hate crime, officials said Thursday.
The 51-year-old victim was crossing Kings Highway near E. 26th St. in Midwood — just steps from New York Community Hospital — about 3 p.m. on July 11 when two black men and a Hispanic man in a silver SUV rolled past, officials said.
One of the men in the SUV yelled “[expletive] Jew!” at the man, who in turn responded with a hand gesture, cops said.
Outraged, the driver of the SUV pulled his vehicle over on a bus lane. All three men, who are believed to be between 20 and 30-years-old, then raced over and repeatedly punched their victim in the head before running back to their vehicle and driving off, the NY Daily News reported.
The victim was treated for minor injuries at the New York Community Hospital.
No arrests have been made. The NYPD’s Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating the incident.
You think it’s possible?? That group of cowards probably won’t get any jail time. I’m glad he responded to the thugs, that was an act of bravery. The safer way is to ignore, which has got us nowhere. But every Jew needs to walk around with some form of protection, they are obsessed with us and only attack when they are greater in number or dealing with someone smaller or weaker. In the wise words of Country Yossi- Sometimes you gotta fight when you’re a Jew.
Learn Krav Maga or other martial arts.
Only a weapon can defend a lone person from 3 or 4 bullies.

That said, don’t do that. Don’t respond in kind. The animals are more and more often carrying guns and they’ve been to jail before and will be there again.
When lawlessness increases in the city so do hate attacks against Jews.
Another reason why jews shouldn’t support the BLM movement, which calls for defunding/reducng funding to police.
I’ve always wondered why some people feel one must respond to someone else’s talk. What’s the difference what someone else says? (Of course I’m not referring to someone of established authority like a judge or law enforcement. I’m talking about a peer, a fellow human and common citizen). If someone insults your mother, there’s like a commandment that one must punch the other guy out to “defend the honor of your mother.” If someone calls you a derogatory name, describes you as something undesirable, accuses you of bad action… why care? why respond? why validate? Why stoop? You’ll be judged… Read more »
