Launched in connection with 22 Shevat, the Rebbetzin’s yahrtzeit, and concluding just after her birthday on 25 Adar, the campaign took place during days the Rebbe emphasized as especially auspicious for increasing in Torah, tefillah, tzedakah, particularly through supporting institutions established in her honor.
More than 2,600 partners and donors answered this call, many contributing in the amount of 470, the gematria of the name “Chaya Mushka.” This extraordinary response, from across the Jewish world and especially from Anash, friends, and supporters of the mosad, reflects a deep and enduring connection to the Rebbetzin’s legacy and the understanding that supporting Or Chaya is a direct partnership in continuing in her path.
Founded at the Rebbe’s personal request and named by the Rebbe himself, Or Chaya has grown into a global center of Torah, Chassidus, and inspiration for women and girls. Today, hundreds of students learn there, while thousands more participate throughout the year in study days, farbrengens, shiurim, and large-scale events.

At the farbrengen of 22 Shevat 5749, marking the Rebbetzin’s first yahrtzeit, the Rebbe spoke about the immense merit of supporting institutions established in her name, quoting Chazal: “Mah zar’ah bachayim, af hi bachayim”—just as her children live on, so too does she. The Rebbe further assured that the Rebbetzin would intercede from the World of Truth on behalf of her supporters, davening for them to have with health, long life, children, and abundant sustenance.
“It is deeply moving to see such an incredible global response,” said Or Chaya Chairwoman Mrs. Daniella Golan. “This year saw a record number of donors and partners. Each one is a true partner in continuing the Rebbetzin’s legacy and expanding this vital work.”
Rabbi Yehuda Golan, CEO of Or Chaya, added his gratitude: “A heartfelt thank you to the campaign team, ambassadors, and all our partners and friends who worked tirelessly to ensure its success. It is a tremendous zechus to carry the Rebbetzin’s name and spread her light throughout the world.”
