Chanukah is always a special time at OK Kosher and this year’s events were definitely crowd pleasers.
On Wednesday, the 3rd day of Chanukah, OK Kosher kicked off its annual events with a beautiful luncheon for the female staff members.
Held in the Beinoni Shul, the sit down event featured Rivka Weingot, creator of the Driven Day Planner. Rivka spoke about setting and achieving goals, both personal and professional, as well as how she created her unique planner for the Jewish woman. The ladies of the OK were each treated to a brand new 2019 Driven Day planner, followed by a beautiful lunch, catered by OK certified Bunch O Bagels, with an elegant dairy spread. Of course, the meal wouldn’t be complete without doughnuts and latkes in honor of Chanukah.
Thursday, the 4th day of Chanukah, was party day for the men of OK Kosher. Parenting coach, Rabbi Yisroel Pekar, spoke about the unique challenges faced by a parent who travels for business and gave creative and time-tested tips for proactively maintaining a connection with kids despite the distance. The party continued with a question and answer session and some tips by one of our most traveled rabbis. No party is completely without lunch, and the men of the OK enjoyed a beautiful spread of fish burgers, latkes, lasagna and salads, and, of course, donuts!
OK Kosher saves the best for last, and Zos Chanukah was the scene of our annual party for children of OK employees. Held at 580 Crown Street, the party featured a delicious breakfast and lunch, lots of fun arts and crafts, and, the highlights of the party – Small Wonder Puppet Theater and face painting by Pnina Hanoka of Face Art by Pnina. The kids were enthralled and giggling during the four puppet shows and an entire menagerie of animals, princesses and other great designs graced the faces of the kids!
Way to go!!
Thank you OK for giving back!
