Oholei Torah Mesivta Bochurim Print Own Tanya

“Ma’alin Bakodesh” — as the Oholei Torah Mesivta campaign put it — and the Temimim didn’t wait around.

Right after moving into the new building in Remsen Village, the Temimim of Oholei Torah Mesivta jumped on the opportunity to fulfill the Rebbe’s directive: to print a Tanya in every place. With the goal of spreading the wellsprings of Chassidus from within the walls of Yeshivah out into the world, this project was all about action.

Originally announced at last year’s Yud Tes Kislev event, the Tanya was eventually printed near the end of the year — but the binding and final touches just came back in time for Yud Alef Nissan. This is the first Tanya ever printed in the new Mesivta building, and it was a project completely by the bochurim, for the bochurim.

We want to give a huge thank you to all the Temimim in Oholei Torah Mesivta who made this a reality. A special thank you as well to Rabbi Shmuel Jacobson from Worldwide Tanya, and to the sponsors who helped cover the costs and make this possible.

Among those who received a copy of the Tanya were Rabbi Silman, menahel of the Mesivta, and Rabbi Loufer, the mashgiach. The bochurim were surprised and excited to see the unique style and quality of the sefer — something new and different that made this printing really stand out.

This should serve as a true makeh b’patish and chizuk for all the Temimim, encouraging them to go even stronger in Hafotzas HaMaayanos, until we’re zocheh to k’si mar — da malka Meshicha.
