The Talmidim in Oholei Torah Mechina, just participated in a Mivtza called “Mivtza L’chatchilah Ariber.”
Mivtza L’chatchilah Ariber is a mivtza that is sponsored in honor of HaBochur HaTomim Shmuel Karnowsky A”H, a dear student of Oholei Torah, by his parents Osher and Rivka Karnowsky.
This Mivtza was initiated to bring encouragement and Chayus to the Talmidim’s learning and attendance, both in and outside of seder.
The Hanhalah and the staff organized the Mivtza as follows: All Talmidim that have a perfect attendance record and get test marks of eighty and above from Chanukah are eligible to take part in a specially organized trip. The Talmidim’s learning must be good in the subjects of Gemorah, Tanya, Halacha, Chumash, Chassidus. In addition, any Talmidim that are diligent in hashkeim, mikvah, chitas and rambam, seder sichos after seder, mivtzoim, and chassidishe farbrengens, are eligible for a skiing trip.
The Mivtza was run by Rabbi Wilhelm, Rabbi Bryski, and many members of the devoted Mechanchim and Shluchim.
The Talmidim who accomplished the mivtza since Chanukah attended a grand trip on Thursday, 25 Shevat. The Talmidim arrived at the Villa Roma Resort in upstate New York on Wednesday, 24 Shevat and enjoyed a two-day trip with their peers and staff.
The trip included Snow tubing, Skiing, Bowling, Rockwall, Sports, Game room, Archery, Swimming, Bounce houses, dancing with the Fitche Benshimon, Shiur Chasidus By Rabbi Asher Oster, Shiur Halacha by Rabbi Levi Feldman, Farbrengens with Rabbi Dovid Kahanov for many hours in the spirit of Hakhel.
“May the merit of this trip and all of their accomplishments bring about Hakitzu V’ranninu of HaBochur HaTomim Shmuel A”H and may all Talmidim continue to give nachas to the Rebbe and their parents and bring Moshiach now,” said Rabbi Wilhelm, Menahel.
