Each year, thousands visit the Ohel of the Lubavitcher Rebbe in Queens on Gimmel Tammuz, the day of his Yahrtzeit.
“We are expecting a larger crowd than ever this year,” said a staff member at the Ohel.
To ensure the weekend goes smoothly, Ohel Chabad Lubavitch has requested that all those who are planning to spend the Shabbos following Gimmel Tammuz at the Ohel to notify their office in advance.
Accommodations will be provided in a large tent situated a few blocks from the Ohel, an approximately five minute walk.
To arrange for accommodations please call 718-723-4545 or email [email protected].

no more gimmel Tammuz!
No more waiting on lines!
Just peace and happiness forever….
A heartfelt thanks must be given to the people responsible for the organising for the thousands of people who come to the Ohel on days like Gimmel Tammuz. It is always orderly and hassle free even though the queues are so long.

Though I go to the Ohel – just as the Rebbe always did, Like the Rebbe, I feel the Rebbe is still with us and therefore I will go to 770 for gimmel Tamuz.
from on top it looks like so many kevorim – like soldiers – it’s so sad.
Moshiach now!
G-D willing The Rebbe will be back with us in 770 before Gimmel Tamuz.
