The annual Chof Beis Shevat farbrengen near the Rebbe’s Ohel will take place on Monday and will feature various personalities recounting their experiences.
Chaired by Minnesota Shliach Rabbi Mendel Feller, guests will include Rabbi Chaim Schapiro, Rosh Yeshivah of Morristown, N.J., who will share his memories as a bochur in 1988; Rabbi Shem Rokeach; Rabbi Levi Shemtov of Riverdale, N.Y., who will retell his stories with the Rebbetzin; and Wisconsin head Shliach Rabbi Yisroel Shmotkin who will address “Vehachai yiten el libo,” learning from the Rebbetzin’s holy ways.
The farbrengen will be broadcast live from the Ohel on Chabad.org/orvechom
The evening is organized by Vaad Or Vechom, who have made a Chof Beis Shevat website available, with resources for adults, educators, students and children. The site includes sichos, maamarim, farbrengens with noted mashpiim as well as years’ worth of Derher articles on 22 Shevat. Visit Orvechom.com/22shevat.
