President Barack Obama will make a statement around midday on Wednesday about the results of the election in which he will call on the nation to come together after a divisive campaign.
The president called Donald Trump, whose victory has set the political world on its end, from the White House early Wednesday morning to congratulate him on his victory, and phoned Hillary Clinton, who gave her concession speech on Wednesday, to express “admiration” for her campaign, his aides said.
Mr. Obama is to meet with Mr. Trump on Thursday at the White House to discuss the monthslong transition process that will culminate in January with the Republican’s inauguration as the 45th president.
the sun really came out at 39.01!, very nice speech
I think he really tried to make an impact in the world by bringing people together. Thank you Obama, I hope your work brings fruits.
