Following the events in the Middle East and specifically in Israel, out of an abundance of caution, the NYPD is sending out extra patrols in Crown Heights.
The NYPD will be adding security coverage in Crown Heights and other Jewish neighborhoods due to the attacks by Iran in Israel. They noted that there is no specific credible threat at this time.
The extra coverage was announced after Iran attacked Israel with 250 ballistic missiles on Tuesday.
This is in addition to the extra security patrols which will be placed at every Shul, Yeshiva and Jewish Center and at large Jewish events in New York City during the month of Tishrei this year.
