This time of year causes an influx of people to the streets of Manhattan. In order to achieve the maximum amount of Pirsumei Nisa, the Annual Menorah Parade coordinators have rescheduled this year’s Menorah Parade (from the usual Motzei Shabbos) to Monday the second day of Chanukah. This is a prime opportunity for the maximum number of visitors to NYC to observe the Menorah Parade.
Plans are underway to make this year’s Menorah Parade the largest and most successful. “We hope to bring the joy and message of the Chanukah lights to all who witness the Parade in the City of New York,” organizers said.
The parade will take place Iyh on Monday 25 Kislev, December 23rd. It will depart from President and Kingston at 5:00 PM sharp. Since the Menorah Parade is on the second day of Chanukah, which is at an earlier time than usual, it is suggested to reserve a spot ASAP to guarantee that you and your family will be part of this Monumental Menorah Parade.
Due to the large number of Crown Heights families who wish to participate in Chanukah Mivtzoim, the Mitzvah Tank Organization has spent months in preparation to make sure it’s possible for all to join this most Memorable Parade on NYC’s streets.
Every family that has a Menorah attached to the top of their car, is encouraged to participate in the parade. The annual Menorah Parade, is an opportunity for Anash and their families to join in the Rebbe’s call of Mivtzah Chanukah and Persumei Nisah.
This year for a nominal fee, there will be an option to join the parade as a VIP. Aside from helping us cover the cost of the parade, your car will be leading the other cars in this year’s Menorah Parade.
The NYPD requires a copy of each parade participant’s driver’s license and registration. All those that wish to participate in the parade, MUST submit their license and registration via the registration system. Those who do not register will not be able to participate.
To register, visit Menorahparade.nyc.
Please do not delay. Registration closes Thursday, Dec. 19 At: 11:59pm.
The Organizers request that those participating in the parade arrive on time so that the Menorah Parade can be present for the lighting of the world’s largest Menorah on 5th Avenue in Manhattan.

A special Thank You to the Hirsch, Schmukler, Shuchat and Levilev families for their tireless efforts and dedication towards all the Peulos of the Mitzvah Tank Organization.
The organizers hope that this parade will end this Golus and we will March towards the Geulah Ha’amitis V’hashleima, with the Rebbe leading the way!
Thank You to the mitzvah tank office for all the hard work they put in to make the parade happen and especially the Hirsch, Schmukler, Shuchat and Levilev families!
Thank You!
It is much harder on a Monday night for a lot of people to come and a lot of bochurim won’t be able to come being that they are not yet back from yeshiva…
