With Shabbos Kiddushim canceled in Crown Heights this week due to COVID 19, many will be unable to attend the usual Farbrengen to celebrate the auspicious day of Yud Beis Tammuz, when Chasidim mark both the birthday of the Frierdiker Rebbe and his Chag HaGeualah.
In lieu of a large Farbrengen, a special Chassidus shiur to take place Shabbos morning before Davening at Beis Eliezer Yitzchok Shul, with noted Mashpia and lecturer, Rabbi Yossi Paltiel. All anash and temimim are invited to join.
The Crown Heights Rabbonim and local Doctors have issued letters advising caution to prevent a possible resurgence of COVID 19 in the neighborhood, and have instructed Shuls not to have Kiddushim, which can lead to the spread of coronavirus.
“People were heartbroken not to be able to farbreng for Yud Beis Tammuz, so we will gather to learn Chassidus together,” Rabbi Kalman Weinfeld said.
All anash and bochurim are invited to attend the Shiur at 9:00 am, Shabbos morning at 394 Kingston Avenue.
