One of the main Mitzvos of Purim is Matonos L’evonim- to help the poor and needy. In our Crown Heights community not always can you identify these families or widows. Many are embarrassed to let others know they need help. They cannot buy food for Seduas Purim or nosh for their children’s shalach manos, yet they are not collecting money for themselves.
CSSY has been supporting these families in need. THEY ARE PEOPLE YOU KNOW- BUT YOU DON’T KNOW THEY NEED YOU!
We urge you at this time to partner with CSSY and share with us in this great Mitzvah of Tzedaka. Please consider feeding 1 family for this Purim at $135, 2 families at $270, 3 families at $405. Any amount helps and makes a difference for these families!
All giving is done discreetly and modestly. This is the most dignified form of giving and the highest level of Tzedakah – Matan Beseser.
