To note what the Rebbe is saying in the Sicha immediately prior to starting to sing the Niggun: “And it should be very soon we should have (קאפיטל כ”ח פסוק ח) “..The salvation brought by his chosen one (-Moshiach), and after that (פסוק ט) “הושיעה את-עמך וברך את-נחלתך ורעם ונשאם עד-העולם”. And the distribution of (dollars for) Tzedokah will speed up and hasten (Moshiach’s arrival) when we will go with joy and happiness to our Holy Land, Starting off with the Niggun – הושיעה את-עמך…” Its amazing to note that the choice of the Rebbe’s words “אנהייבענדיק מיט” can also… Read more »
I had the zchus of teaching one of his granddaughters many years ago. I guess the apples really don’t fall far from the tree; what a huge loss to the world.
