Two newly released editions of the Kehot Chumash Bamidbar in both French and Spanish have arrived in the United States in time for Hei Teves.
The Nadav Bensoussan French Edition and the Perez Family Spanish Edition were printed in Israel, and were brought to the US by Rabbi Yosef Aharanov, Chairman of Tzach Israel, who has arrived for the auspicious day of Hei Teves.
After the Dedication event of the new wing of the Library of Agudas Chasidei Chabad, Rabbi Aharanov, accompanied by Rabbi Shlomo Cunin, and members of the Cunin family, visited the Rebbe’s room in 770 to deliver the newly printed Chumashim on the Rebbe’s desk.
Also placed on the Rebbe’s desk were copies of two recent U.S. court rulings which advanced efforts to recover holy books and manuscripts stolen by the Soviet Union and Nazis and are being held by the Russian government.
The Kehot Chumash is published by Chabad House Publications, Director General Editor Rabbi Chaim Nochum Cunin, Editor In Chief Rabbi Moshe Wisnefsky.
Spanish Chumash Editor In Chief Rabbi Eliezer Shemtov.
French Chumash Editor In Chief Rabbi Chaim Nissenabum.
