On Sunday, 20 of Sivan, well over 350 people traveled to East Flatbush from Crown Heights and other points of NY for the premiere viewing of Oholei Torah’s newly built East Flatbush Kindergarten.
The guests were awed with the new construction, fabulous design and overall atmosphere of the school. It was truly a day where each and everyone felt happy to see this beloved building, where it has such a rich past history, and now a very bright future.
A carnival area, lavish brunch and full tours of the building given by Morah Faige Winner, Director of the Kindergarten programs filled the day, as many parents, supporters and staff members saw for the first time the kindergarten.
Rabbi Joseph Rosenfeld, Executive Director of Oholei Torah, personally thanked all those who were involved with building, designing and assistance to help open the building in such a short amount of time. Rebbetzin Esther Teitelbaum, co-founder of Oholei Torah, greeted the many guests and former students, and said this is a true simcha, as we gather in Reb Michoel’s shul as it’s re-built and ready for many years of use in the future!
The constructor of the building project, Yanky Sufrin, of YHS Construction, joined the event, and took part in the pride that so many joined and felt connected with the East Flatbush Kindergarten.
Rabbi Nosson Blumes, Director of Development said, “This is a day that we all can gather and take pride in this magnificent building project,” and he calls upon all those who can to take part in this project by making a dedication or being part of the upcoming supporters wall project to be placed in the main foyer of the building entrance.
Building Dedications and wall plaques are available for those who wish to participate in this exciting project. For more information you can email [email protected], or call 718-483-9000.
