A new Yeshivas Kayitz founded this year will travel to Mexico for an exciting and inspiring summer experience for Bochurim.
YK Mexico, in conjunction with Yeshivas Bais Schneur, is geared for bochurim ages 17-20 who want to have a fun experience this summer and who are also committed to growing in their learning and Chasidishkeit.
Bochurim will spend the mornings doing shlichus activities, helping bring fellow Jews back to their roots, and afternoons on trips, and tours of the country.
This summer-of-a-lifetime experience is focused on chassidishe training and providing our Bochurim with the experience of what it takes to live on Shlichus, explains the founder and director, Rabbi Mendel Sasson.
“As we are nearing the end of another successful year at Yeshivas Bais Schneur, I saw the need for a Yeshivas Kayitz which would give a Bochur a meaningful and fun summer with the focus of giving to others,” says Rabbi Sasson, YK Mexico’s Founder.
“Bochurim will learn “Toras Hashlichus” as put forth by the Rebbe during the camp. They will visit various Shluchim and communities in Mexico to learn and to be inspired by those who devote themselves to this vital mission 24/7, 365 days a year,” he says.
The camp is under the auspices of Rabbi Avrohom Srugo, Head Shliach of Guadalajara, Mexico.
Staff includes Rabbi Mordechai Cadaner – Mashpia, Yosef Halsband – Head Counselor, Zalmy Srugo and Isrolik Srugo.
The specialized curriculum that was carefully prepared, focuses on the practical aspect of Shlichus and includes workshops by experienced shluchim that will address a wide range of topics, from, “What is demanded of a Shliach?”, to “How to make kosher bread when living 2,000 miles from the nearest kosher bakery.”
All this will be done in a fun and exciting environment, with a schedule packed to the brim (of every fedora) with activities. Scuba diving in the coral reefs of Cozumel, ATVs on the longest suspension bridge in the world and through the jungle hillsides of Vallarta, and “Barranca” the “Grand Canyon of Mexico”, are just some of the planned attractions. Then, relax with 5-star accommodations and fresh meals made every day by a team of chefs.
For extra credit in advance redeemable for benefits such as additional exclusive trips, YKMexico staff have created the Hiskashrus Incentive Program (HIP) put into place for the Bochurim which will run through the summer.
The camp will take place Thursday 14th of Tammuz, 5781 (June 24) – Sunday 16th of Av, 5781 (July 25).

This looks like a great program! I looked on the website, and did not see pricing anywhere. How can we find out the cost, before filling out the registration form? Ty!
I would like to compliment modche cadaner on becoming a rabbi
Yours truly SGP
I couldn’t be happier to hear about Rabbi Srugo and Rabbi Sasson to be envolved with these type of things, they are very humble people and a great Dugma Chaya, I am sure the bochurim would benefit so much even if only from the fact of being around them.
Yasher Coach and may you see Brachos outpouring.
I wish yeshiva was like this when I was a bochur. Much success!
Just wanna put it out there I have the honour of knowing the mashpiah rabbi mordechay and there are no words to describe this rabbi uniqueness and Specialty in dealing with teenagers and leading them in the right path
Shlichus starts at Home. I’m glad to see someone made it their mission to Focus on our boys, to give the “good boys” a good time.
