As the Vaad Hakohol and CHJCC Board marks 100 days of dedicated service, we are excited to share an update on the progress and key initiatives we’ve been working on to support and strengthen the Crown Heights community. 1. Director for Social Services Recruitment
Advanced recruitment of a Director for the Social Services Department. • Ensuring efficient and compassionate support for Crown Heights residents.
2. Strengthening Our Political Influence
Building a coalition to enhance political advocacy for the Crown Heights community.
3. Financial Literacy Workshop for Families
Partnering with Collective Kindness to offer a workshop on budgeting and financial management.
Tailored to Crown Heights families for better financial stability.
4. Community-Centric Development
Engaging with developers for new housing projects suited to Crown Heights needs.
5. CHJCC Website & Office Renovation
Developing a new website for improved community service access.
6. Weekly CHJCC Departmental Reports
Implementing weekly departmental reports for transparency and accountability.
7. Ongoing Communication with DOT on Bike Lanes
Discussing bike lane plans with the Department of Transportation (special thanks to Yaakov Behrman for his dedication).
8. Kingsbrook Shul Reopening
Working with legal experts to support the reopening of Kingsbrook Shul.
9. Chosen Program for Shul Security
New program to enhance shul security.

Launching a campaign to support Mas Hakohol’s essential services.

What plan is there to elect a 3rd Rabbi so CH has a full Beis Din
As public servants, why not take 30 min a month to hear your community’s concerns and then follow up by cooperation with elected officials and community board reps?
They are full of promises and goals that’s true. Proof is the the pudding. Empty and empty. What did they do and say when pro Hamas attack Jews? Nothing is what they did. O out of 6 not a single one
What realistic plan is being formulated to approach every household and wage earner in CH to pay מס הקהל.
What have the new board actually achieved in their first hundred days.
What new help will they give the needy for Tishrei?
