Chabad Lubavitch of Southwest Florida, directed by Rabbi Yitzchok and Nechamie Minkowicz, celebrated their Grand Founders Dinner with a new Torah dedication.
The Grand Founders Dinner was attended by over 100 people with a first class elegant Dinner. During Dinner the Community had an opportunity to write letters in the Torah.
The program began with Rabbi Yitzchok and Nechamie Minkowicz welcoming and thanking all for their support, followed by the inscription of the last letters in the Torah by Balei Batim that dedicated The Torah, the 5 Seforim, the Yad, the Breast Plate and the Crown.
The children from Maimonides Hebrew Day School (the local Chabad School) with their Teacher Mrs. Sheina Jacobson sang songs for the community followed by a dynamic speech from Head Shliach to Brazil Rabbi Shabse Alpern followed by Hakafot with the Sifrei Torah.
The event was also attended by the local Shluchim Rabbi Yossi Labkowski from Cape Coral and Rabbi Simon and Sheina Jacobson from Punta Gorda as well as the Sofer Rabbi Yossi Srugo.
