Singer Menachem Shukron, known for his emotionally charged creations, unveils his latest single in Hebrew “השקט עדיין לא בא”, “Silence is Yet to Come.”
The song was written and composed by Menachem, with musical arrangement and production by Efi Shiner.
Explaining the essence of the song, Menachem shares, “silence, as we know, never comes on its own. We need to step out of our routines to find it. Waiting won’t make it arrive. If we want to expand our circle of happiness and offer solace to our searching souls, we must learn to pause, even indulge occasionally, and connect with moments of stillness amidst life’s noise.”
One of the lyrics in the third verse reads, “You told the wind you’re tired of flowing.” Menachem relates strongly to this line, describing the need within us to flow with our current circumstances until the desired outcome arrives. “The Jewish notion is to find contentment in life, to discover the eagerness to rise and dance with life right now, to relish and celebrate the journey we’re on. Because the moment you surpass a goal you’ve set for yourself, it belongs to the past, and there’s always the next goal waiting to be conquered.”
Menachm’s previous songs, such as “Return,” “I’m Yours,” and “On My Way to me,” succeeded in touching and moving a diverse audience. In “silence is yet to come,” he takes another step forward, blending contemporary rhythm with unexpected and intriguing musical arrangements. Menachem delivers deep meaning in his songs conveyed through his straightforward poetic style.
Menachem Shukron will host Noam Banai and other artists in a performance at the Golah Club on the 12th of September, coinciding with the release of his new single.
