The NightOwls
Although we live in the confusing and turbulent times of the end of a long dark exile, we can’t loose sight of the “Shining Stars” who continue putting smiles on peoples faces and promising a brighter future.
Let’s zoom in and focus on one such extraordinary group: The ALIYA Institute of Crown Heights.
Spearheaded by Rabbi Moishe Feiglin, the center is dedicated to our youth where regardless of one’s level of religious observance, they are graciously welcomed to do a Mitzvah and feel good about doing it. All the judgmental content which unfortunately surround the Judaism of today’s young adults are left at the door. Inside Aliya Mitzvos are done with joy, on the notion of just how valuable one good deed truly is in the eyes of Hashem.
A place of nurture for mind, body and soul, Aliya provides a fully equipped gym, interactive classes, inspiring Farbrengens and perhaps most notably a professional music studio. That’s where so many have the opportunity to express their soulful feelings through music and song. Aliya has already seen three concert, touring bands, and countless solo acts emerge from its studio.
Most recently are The NightOwls. A band consisting of both Yeshiva bochurim and the working youth, brings forth a very diverse “Vibe,” and a very unique blend of musical styles.
Debuting with a popular hit Purim Single last Adar, the band went on to numerous concert performances and recently did two shows in Crown Heights.
Over the past few months The Night Owls have been working on producing a song which encompasses the mission and spirit of Aliya. Weeks turning into months were spent in Aliya’s Studio and a song called “Dreams” evolved.
The song’s musical structure “journeys” a dream, its pursuit, the trials and tribulations which stand in the way, but constantly persisting and making the dream a reality. An intriguing music video accompanies the song.
Produced and directed by MoMo Rosner of MoMo Media in Los Angeles, the video is a fun, insightful experience. The band hopes to inspire many in pursuing their dreams and to always stand tall no matter how difficult the challenge.
That precisely is what Aliya so fabulously does. Rekindling the hope in today’s youth and assisting them in turning their dreams into a reality. The NightOwls have dedicated the song to Aliya and its leader Rabbi Feiglin in support of the priceless work which Aliya continues to do.
Special thanks to Crown Heights True Value Hardware for their sponsorship of this production.

Great song guys! I actually like the whole paint idea.. To #7
I think the splashing of the paint everywhere, is that you can paint any picture you want in your life, set it in your mind and live up to it and fulfill your dreams!! I think the question mark is to ask youreself like, what’s your dream? And how will you live up to it.. Thats how I took it in… Keep up the great work guys!
