Lubavitch Aventura South in Florida has announced that Rabbi Mendel and Mirel Goldberg (nee Rosenfeld) and their baby Musia are joining their team as new Shluchim.
“Their arrival marks an exciting new chapter as we work together to meet the ever growing needs of our community and reach even more families with meaningful Jewish programming and connection,” Lubavitch Aventura South said.
A major focus for the Goldbergs will be Jewish education, that will give our youngest children a strong foundation in Jewish values, traditions, and love for their heritage, along side a variety of new classes, events, and initiatives for parents of young children.
Rabbi Mendel grew up helping his parents build Jewish life in São Paulo, Brazil, giving him firsthand experience in creating community where it’s needed most. Mirel was raised in Aventura and knows the area and its families inside and out. Together, they bring both global perspective and deep local understanding to their new role.
“We warmly welcome Rabbi Mendel, Mirel, and Musia Goldberg to the Lubavitch Aventura South South family. We look forward to the energy, warmth, and growth they will bring, and we wish them much success and joy as they begin this journey with us,” they said.
