A third Chabad couple is moving on Shlichus to Toledo in the northwest part of Ohio to help expand the Chabad activities and programs there after 3 decades.
Rabbi Dov Ber and Rivka Fridman (nee Scheiner), both originally from Canada, will be moving there with their son Levi Yitzchok. They will establish Torah classes and help organize events and programs for elderly local Jewish population.
Chabad House of Toledo – Bais Menachem Mendel has been established over 36 years ago by Rabbi Yossi and Raizel Shemtov with the blessing of the Rebbe. Assisting them are Shluchim Rabbi Shmouel and Mushka Matusof.
Chabad there serves the needs of the entire Jewish community, from the youngsters to the elderly. They offer Shabbos and Holiday Services, Holiday Celebrations, Adult Education, Women’s Events, Preschool & Summer Camp, and Programs for Children & Families.
