By Oryah
Within every person flares a flame alive and vibrant. In the words of the Rebbe “If you complement your flame of youth with a sense of focus and urgency you have the power to move worlds.”
At Oryah Seminary, we have crafted a seminary program that will enable the youth to curate their flames and move their worlds. To be able to do so one needs a safe environment that motivates them to discover what they are made of.
At Oryah, we strongly believe in the power of each individual. Our students will live and learn in an environment created to strengthen their spiritual and intellectual understanding of the Torah through Chassidus. Our unique and individualized program will help them learn to transform their growth into practical tools that they will be able to use as a guide towards leading meaningful, purposeful Torah lives.
Oryah is an immersive program that combines classroom learning with real-life experiences to deliver a world-class education.
We are committed to the Rebbe’s vision of creating leaders that will create leaders and we have modeled our curriculum both in the classroom and out of the classroom on this premise. There is no better way to become a great leader than to connect with our Rebbe, the greatest leader of our time, through his own writings, teachings, and stories.
Students will have a variety of opportunities of community chessed to be involved in such as visiting terror victims, children with special needs, and children’s hospitals. We offer numerous trips throughout the year in Eretz Yisroel as well as Ukraine and Europe to bring our learning alive.
Our full-time learning program includes intense text based learning, discussion based collaborative learning, and experiential driven learning. The curriculum is set up to communicate the timeless messages Torah has to offer.
The objective of Oryah is to impart not only knowledge, but to promote confidence and self-discovery through the acquisition of life skills and professional training in the arts, entrepreneurship, and the field of education. We will be exploring different classes on business development. After completing this curriculum, our students will be able to put their knowledge to work in real-life business environments.
We have an incredible team of learning facilitators working together with Rabbi Moshe Genuth, Mrs. Navi Zeiler, Rabbi Nir Menusi, Mrs. Leah levitt, and others.
Oryah Seminary is directed by Leah Goldschmidt and Itty Andrusier. It is under the rabbinical auspices of Rabbi Binyamin Preminger. Our dorm mother in charge of the girls wellbeing is Mrs. Nechama Pevzner. On staff, we have a licensed mental health counselor Mrs. Chaya Botnik.
