PSVR, which runs from Wednesday, April 8 to Thursday, April 17, is situated at the magnificent all-new Molly Blank Jewish Community Center, opened by Chabad of Flagstaff under the direction of Rabbi Dovie and Chaya Shapiro.
“We are so excited to welcome young Jewish professionals for the first Pesach in our new retreat center,” said Rabbi Shapiro. “In addition to the inspiring Yom Tov services, insightful study sessions, beautiful sedarim, and gourmet meals, we are looking forward to a full week of fun and adventure as we show our guests the stunning natural beauty of northern Arizona.”
The following are among the activities and tours scheduled: Hiking at Grand Canyon; VIP tour of Lowell Observatory; Day in Sedona, including a hike to waterfalls, ATV rides; Spa treatment; Walnut Canyon; Lava Cave adventure; Wine tasting; Laser tag; Historic downtown Flagstaff.
Leading the program will be Rabbi Dovie and Chaya Shapiro; Rabbi Moshe Moscowitz, noted educator in Chicago and executive producer of Shazak Multimedia. Topics include: Escaping your Personal Mitzrayim; Tanya Soul Maps; Jewish Business Ethics; Combatting Anti-Semtisim; Combining Professional & Spiritual; Mindfulness; Science & Judaism; and more.
Mordy Kurtz from the Rogers Park Band will lead services and a kumzitz.
The program includes three gourmet meals a day prepared by Chef Shua Lurie, plus a 24-hour Tea Room. PSVR is under the strict supervision of Rabbi Dovie Shapiro. All Pesach meals are non-gebroks, and only Shmurah Matzah is served.
