In honor of the auspicious day of Chai Elul—the birthday of the two great luminaries, the Baal Shem Tov and the Alter Rebbe— the Ziv Institute, which is dedicated to republishing the works of Rabbi Zusha Wilhelm obm, is proud to present a newly published hardcover volume, “Yesh L’Temoah V’Yesh L’Yashev.”
This sefer offers a rich collection of fascinating questions in both Nigleh and Chassidus on the weekly parshiyos, bringing fresh flavor and depth to the Shabbos table.
In Divine Providence, the sefer arrived from the printer on Chai Elul itself—a day of special merit, which is also the birthday of the author.
Rabbi Zusha Wilhelm, a veteran mechanech and longtime menahel of Oholei Torah, devoted his life to raising generations of talmidim in Torah, Yiras Shamayim, and Chassidus. Among his many unique methods of instilling a love for learning, he became especially renowned for his penetrating and thought-provoking weekly questions on the parshiyos and yomim tovim. These questions, known as “Yesh L’Temoah”, were embraced with warmth and enthusiasm by talmidim and Anash across the globe.
This new hardcover sefer gathers a selection of those questions from over the years, arranged according to the order of the weekly parshiyos. They open a gateway to deeper study, fresh insight, and a living, personal connection with the parsha—through a Chassidishe lens that illuminates the mind and stirs the heart.
“Taste and see that Hashem is good”—rediscover the sweetness and depth of Torah through the eyes and heart of a mechanech who dedicated his life to igniting a love of Torah and uncovering its inner dimension.
An excerpt from the sefer is attached here for your enjoyment.
