Deputy Chief Charlie Minch, the new Chief of Patrol Borough Brooklyn South, visited Crown Heights last week.
He visited the home of Chanina Sperlin, community activist and liaison to the NYPD. The visit was joined by the Assistant Chief of Patrol Borough Brooklyn South Frank Giordano, NYPD Community Affairs Chief Richie Taylor, and members of the NYPD 71 Precinct.
During the meeting, they discussed issues affecting the Jewish community as well as the recent troubling uptick in antisemitic crime in Crown Heights.
