The idea of a release of this genre being dedicated to the memory of Rabbi “Hes’ke” Gansbourg is altogether fitting. He (and his family zollen gezunt zein) had/have a true appreciation of the soul of Lubavitcher niggunim. When Rabbi Gansbourg “said” a niggun the niggun spoke. To this day I like to listen to his renditions in particular,on the original Nichoach (Niggunei Chassidei Chabad) releases. Those of the younger generation who are not as familiar with our niggunim as the “old timers” are would surely be touched by these, if they seriously listened to them. This is a beautiful testament to all those who were lucky enough to know Rabbi Gansbourg and his dedication to the Rebbe. Please note: When a family dedicates a project in the name of a loved one, I’m quite sure they are expecting to see the name of the individual posted correctly. If I’m not mistaken, Rabbi Gansbourg’s name was not Hayshe and he was never called that. His name was Tzvi Hirsh, known fondly to friends and family as Hirshel or Hes’ke.
