Over the past week, thousands of households received the 10th issue of Bais Rivkah’s EmBRace Magazine. This informative, inspirational magazine is mailed free of charge to the ever-growing community of Bais Rivkah alumnae.
“Is it really true that you’ll drink blood on your holiday?”
The innocent question, asked by Sara Hakakzadeh’s friend, was just a harbinger of what was to come.
“One day, when Sara and her brother were on line to purchase oil to heat their home, they were caught in a crossfire. A demonstrator grabbed Shmuel and used him as a human shield from the armed soldiers. Only when Sarah screamed at the top of her lungs and pulled her brother out of the chokehold did the demonstrator let go.”
“They knew it was time to leave.”
