A new coronavirus drug which successfully cured 30 cases of the disease in Israeli hospital patients has been hailed by scientists as a ‘huge breakthrough’, Yahoo News reported.
The EXO-CD24 substance was developed at the Ichilov Medical Centre in Tel Aviv and successfully completed its first phase of clinical trials on Friday.
The treatment was given to 30 patients with coronavirus, whose conditions ranged from moderate to severe.
Twenty-nine of the patients were then discharged from the hospital in the following three to five days, while one patient took slightly longer to recover.
A protein known as CD24 is delivered to the lungs by exosomes in the drug, which helps to rebalance the immune system and prevent it from overreacting to the virus, they reported.
“Even if the vaccines do their job, and even if there aren’t any new mutations, one way or another, the coronavirus will be staying with us,” Prof Arber told the news site Arutz Sheva.
“That’s why we developed this special medication. It’s been about half a year from the time the idea was hatched to the first human trials [being] conducted.”

There’s no evidence that this works yet, a first phase 30 person trial without a control group is just a preliminary trial. Also if you’re afriad of vaccines, you probably shouldn’t drive a care or take a plane ever either. There’s always new technology being used in planes and cares, maybe you shouldn’t Trust it either….. Very interesting how we choose to trust science when it’s convenient
No matter how many people it could help. I just don’t see the media, or this administration for that matter, publicizing a cure that comes from Israel.
First of all, it was reported in the media, that’s how collive got it in the first place, check the link. More importantly, a first phase study done with 30 people without a control group, is a very preliminary result, it’s nothing to get excited about yet.

It’s not being ignored, it’s been duplicated many times by scientists around the world who have not found any better really than the placebo. are you aware that even in zalenkos study, a few Patients died too. Hydroxychloroquine was never even tested in vitro on human cells only on monkey cells.
