Sandler Studios, a new Dance Studio which has opened in Crown Heights, offers programs for young girls and women, providing them with an outlet for creative expression and promoting physical fitness.
Rivka Sandler, who has founded the studio, says that she has a “passionate belief in the power of the arts to enrich lives.”
The programs are specially designed for girls and young women, providing them with an outlet for creative expression, stimulating confidence, and promoting physical fitness, all while they learn new dance skills and having a blast.
Sandler Studios is dedicated to providing a valuable service to the community while creating an appropriate environment with all-Jewish music, along with affordable prices.
“This is an opportunity not to be missed, where girls and young women can embark on a journey of creativity, confidence, and fitness. Join Sandler Studios, and be a part of a dance community where the world of dance comes alive,” Sandler says.
Dance styles offered at Sandler Studios include Hip Hop and Zumba.
Hip Hop: Hip Hop is a globally renowned dance style featured in competitions and music videos worldwide. Originating on the streets of New York City, it has evolved over the decades, incorporating new moves and styles. At Sandler Studios, we put our unique twist on it, teaching exclusively to Jewish music and ensuring appropriateness—differing from the secular world’s approach to Hip Hop.
“In our studio, Hip Hop takes on a structured approach,” Sandler says. “The girls will not only gain essential dance skills but also learn the foundations of dancing, applying them to practice in engaging routines.”
Zumba: At Sandler Studios, our Zumba class is a dance party like no other! “Let loose, feel the music, and have a blast while breaking a sweat. It’s not just a workout; it’s an energetic class where you can dance your heart out, seize the opportunity to make new friends, and become a part of our vibrant dance community. Don’t miss out on the Zumba celebration!” she says.

Girls these days need more than ever creative Kosher outlets like this.
You go Sandler Studio!
But the only classes listed are up until age 21. Are you planning on adding classes for older women?
At the moment, no. Our classes are currently made for girls and young women up to the age of 21.
I’m over 21

This sounds amazing. Can we have classes for women of all ages during the day?
This is so beautiful. I’m joining the older women in a request for dance classes. Also would love to join singing or choir classes. Ty

Can we stay away from hip hop dance, the moves are definitely questionable if they are appropriate for bnos chabad.
Hip hop is really fun way to dance, esp if it’s Jewish music. The article says they use kosher, Jewish music. Here is what the article says:

Lol I don’t need to know what the article tells me about hip hop dancing. I took hip hop dance classes and no I don’t think it is a tznius dance style, although it’s a really fun outlet that I enjoyed. I think the person raising this concern has a valid point that doesn’t have to be dismissed. The fact that there’s Jewish music is great but it also tells you what style music it’s going to be. Bottom line i think it’s a asset for the community and for some teens but I think we’re in grey territory. These… Read more »
So happy to hear this! I hope they will add ballet classes and classes for women!
Go Rivka❤️
We’d love to dance, too!!
Are there other options for us?
Dance into the Geula!!
Go Rivka
I’m so happy, you were the best dance teacher ever
I got excited when I saw the article mentioned dance for ladies but then only saw classes listed for ages 21 and younger. Please, please create a session for the many women in the neighborhood who need this outlet and are above 21. Daytime classes would work best!
