The new overnight camp created for boys from Crown Heights schools has expanded due to great demand, and will also be opening a 4th-grade division, COLlive.com has learned.
Due to closures by many camps after coronavirus restrictions, Oholei Torah and Lubavitcher Yeshiva have teamed up to open Gan Yisroel YKK, an overnight camp for boys from grades 4 through Mesivta.
Together, they have secured state of the art campgrounds for up to 500 boys in Oxford in Chester County, Pennsylvania, a 3-hour drive from Crown Heights.
The grounds include basketball courts, golf courses, lakes, pools, adventure courses, laser tag, Go Karts and more.
“We are lucky to work with incredible camp directors Rabbi Yisroel Levertov and Rabbi Yisroel Cohen,” they informed parents.
The schools have hired the staff who have been hired for Camp Gan Israel of Montreal which will not be opening this summer, as reported on COLlive.com.
“The camp is filling up quickly, so we encourage everyone to register as soon as possible,” they said.
