As reported previously, excitement for JEM’s My Story book was far greater than originally anticipated and has quickly sold out.
In a notice sent to customers, JEM notes that the book’s publishing was intended to coincide with Gimmel Tammuz, however they were unable to anticipate the flood of sales that depleted their stock of 6,000 books in a matter of days.
The second printing of My Story is slated to arrive in August, though independent Judaica stores and Amazon still have copies available. Hurry while supplies last.
My Story is a stunning work in which 41 individuals open the door to their private experiences with the Rebbe, as recorded by the My Encounter with the Rebbe oral history project. The book allows you to step into their stories of connection, comfort and care, told in vivid, first-person detail.
“We are humbled and grateful not only for the response in sales, but for the incredible amount of positive feedback we have received,” said Rabbi Yechiel Cagen, director of JEM’s My Encounter project. “The world is clearly thirsting for more knowledge and stories about the Rebbe, and we are gratified to be a part of this vital dissemination of the Rebbe’s wellsprings.”
