Mrs. Neshi Rodin, a beloved mother and grandmother known for her Chesed from Ottawa, Canada, and more recently Israel, passed away on Thursday, 24 Nissan, 5784.
She was 76.
Neshi passed away in Israel, leaving a legacy of kindness, dedication, and inspiration.
After raising five children in Ottawa, Canada, she became an integral part of her community for over five decades.
Neshi’s life was marked by her tireless efforts to uplift others. She taught Torah classes, served as a kindergarten Morah, and ran a chesed organization that provided essentials to those in need.
Her home was always open, radiating warmth and love to all who entered. Despite facing the loss of her husband (Chaim Efraim Yitzchak z”l) over 20 years ago, Neshi’s spirit remained unbroken.
She continued to spread joy, wisdom, and chassidus, touching the lives of many with her positive outlook and unwavering kindness.
Neshi’s move to Israel in her later years was a testament to her devotion to family. She leaves behind a community and family who cherished her deeply. She will be remembered fondly and dearly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her children Rabbi Nosson Rodin (Carmiel, Israel), Yossi Rodin (Montreal, Canada), Sara Leah Balofsky (Beit Shemesh, Israel), Michali Bolonin, (Montreal) and Dovi Rodin (Israel).
