Chabad bochur Ushi Kahan and a fellow bochur on Merkos Shlichus were on their way to a Jew living in the town of Mariposa in California which is primarily known for being a getaway to Yosemite National Park.
The man was not able to make it to a community Seder and the two bochurim were driving to bring him Shmurah Matzah and other necessities for Pesach.
While on the road, a car from behind swerved into the one-lane highway. The bochurim had just enough time to shortstop their vehicle, inches away from the fence.
No one crashed or was hurt, they reported to COLlive.com.
Another car then stopped near the bochurim’s car, wanting to see if anyone was hurt by that reckless driver.
As the conversation went on between the bochurim and the good Samaritan, they learned that this man’s wife and kids are Jewish.
“Boruch Hashem, thanks to this Hashgacha Pratis, the family was given Matzos for Pesach,” the bochurim said.
