Colel Chabad’s annual Nafshi event is returning to the historic Kings Theatre in Brooklyn on Sunday, Yud Zayin Kislev, December 7, and organizers say this year’s program will bring niggunim to light in a way audiences have never experienced before.
Billed as Nafshi III, the evening will feature an all–star lineup of Jewish music, including Eli Marcus, Shulem Lemmer, Joey Newcomb, Yehuda Green, and Benny Friedman, who will lead the crowd through beloved niggunim of Chassidus with fresh arrangements and powerful audience participation.
Over the past two years, Nafshi has grown into the largest Yud Tes Kislev gathering in the world, drawing more than 3,200 men, women, and children last year for a night of song, dance, and Chassidic inspiration.
This year’s production is designed to go even deeper. Updated musical arrangements, immersive lighting, and original visual content based on the Nafshi Live series, which has already highlighted niggunim like “Kol Bayaar” and “Kol Dodi” in cinematic form—will help audiences hear these timeless melodies with fresh ears.
Organizers describe the evening not as a concert, but as “a modern-day farbrengen in a theater,” where thousands of voices join together in Chabad melodies, interwoven with stories, moments of reflection, and a powerful sense of unity.
In true Colel Chabad fashion, every ticket also becomes an act of tzedakah, supporting the organization’s work for families, widows and orphans, and Israel’s most vulnerable, continuing the mission the Baal HaTanya began over 230 years ago.
With tickets already moving quickly and excitement building, organizers expect this to be the most impactful Nafshi yet, both in the theatre and far beyond it.
