Yankel was a special, humble man. A tzadik nistar.
I remember him as a child. His kind smile…
When will we see Yankel again?
Moshiach is long overdue. May his family be comforted.

So hard to see 10 year olds saying kadish… 4 children under 14…
PLEASE POST SHIVA INFO
I am not someone of means, but I want to give at least the little bit I can, has a fund been set up?
He was such a special man. I would see him on a regular basis buying snacks for his children at Kahans grocery. I always noticed this special caring father who was always very polite with the staff at the store, always saying thank you to the cashier.
A true humble chosid. A giant of a person.
Hashem should comfort his family with strength and Simchas and may they know no more sorrow.
Hashem please have mercy on these beautiful young children.
Hashem Yerachem.

Was my bus driver in OT day camp, I really liked him, he was so kind and easy going, the only driver that let me honk the horn…..was very humble.
I didn’t know him, alav hashalom. So sad for the loss of a great soul. May we merit techiyas hameisim soon.
no time to waste! They need help!
as a mother of one special needs child I simply cant understand how Hashem can expect a woman to handle two, plus two others, on her own! Please help this family in every way you can!!!!
We have had no contact for very many years, but I do not forget his kindness. When I was a very new BT he showed me ya’aleh yavo in the bentching, kashered my oven and put up the framework for my sukkah. This was in Tishrei in 1983, in Albany NY. After I moved to Crown Heights, he helped install an air conditioner in my apartment. He cared about people and went out of his way to be helpful. It is an enormous loss. Please do whatever you can for his family. BDE
Yankel was (tears coming to my eyes as I am writing about him in past tense) a person with a huge heart and enormous mind. A genius that could answer complex questions in many fields with great humility (and a great sense of humor), and always willing to help anyone.
My heart goes out to his family. I don’t know how such a loss can ever be filled.
המקום ינחם אתכם בתוך שאר אבלי ציון וירושלים

What a great YID !! a real CHOSSID , KIND , WHAT A LOSS !!!
He was close to our family for many years and took us on trips. Was kind and sweet. Was a pleasure to be around. Always has a nice word
Bright, although quiet and unassuming. As I recall, every once in a while he’d speak up and ask a very insightful question. No airs about him. I am very sorry to hear of his passing.
Knew him from way back when he drove a bus for ULY OP. brilliant man yet so humble. Always tried making others laugh via his sense of humor. May his family know no more tzarot. I’m sure he loved his children bec he had truly cared about every kid on his bus route!!!
