I heard a beautiful story the other day.
Someone, who shall remain unnamed told me that he went into a local supermarket to buy a drink and there was a Chabad stand there for putting on Tefillin.
He realized he hadn’t put on Tefillin that day so he went over. After he was done, he went to buy his drink and the Chabad man told him that his drink was taken care of.
He asked by whom and he was told that every Friday, a stranger comes over to the Chabad stand, leaves a large sum of money and says “Whoever puts on Tefillin, whatever they buy is free. It’s on me!”
They don’t know who this man is and he does this every week.
I just thought that was so beautiful and an “Only in Israel” moment.
מי כעמך ישראל
Which stand is it??
