I have been making challahs every week for quite a few years. This summer I was away and I wasn’t sure the oven was kosher so I didn’t want to use it. We bought challahs for the month we were away. I got home and was very tired this past Erev Shabbos but I still made challah. Since then I have been thinking maybe it’s silly to need to make my own every Shabbos. I really appreciate you sharing this story and adding inspiration to this special mitzvah!!
