Over 500 children from single parent families around New York gathered together at Area 53 on the 5th night of Chanukah for My Extended Family’s Chanukah Extravaganza.
With after school locations in Five Towns, Flatbush, Teaneck, Monsey, Crown Heights, and Boro Park all the kids at the Chanukah event left with gelt, and gifts, after eating a hot dinner and delicious sufganiyot.
My Extended Family, celebrating 10 years in existence under the leadership of Rabbi Yoseph Vigler, has met the increasing needs of children from single parent homes through a wide variety of programming, events, financial aid, support and care.
