The annual Oholei Torah PTA auction will take place this weekend, with the men’s event on Motzei Shabbos, December 15 and the women’s event on Sunday, December 16.
The men’s evening will feature a stellar musical show, starring musical composer extraordinaire Yossi Green accompanied by Eli Marcus and Peretz Chein. Enjoy musical arrangements by the popular Fitche Benshimon. Join in a heartfelt Kumzitz with a playlist from days gone by to todays contemporary hits. Guests will enjoy a curated Melave Malka and grand wine tasting. There will be special prizes auctioned off specifically for the men’s event.
This year’s women’s event will feature an all star cast of cook book authors and food bloggers and they will present their expertise at an expo style promenade.
The event is geared to the modern, trendsetting Balabasta who must be organized, cook in bulk, cater to different dietary needs, while presenting as a food stylist. Guests will enjoy tips, menus and decorating ideas to suit every palate.
The expo will present Naomi Nachman, author of Perfect for Pesach, Naomi Elberg, founder of TGIS Challah will lead a workshop on delectable babkas and Sandy Leibowitz will share recipes, techniques and knife skills.
Author and editor-in-chief of Fleishig magazine, Shifra Klein will demonstrate best practices for mouth watering meat recipes. Complete your palate with a refreshing fruit platter presentation by Fruits by Pesha.
This year’s auction features new state of the art prizes, including, furniture, trips, amazon, visa gift cards and spectacular jewelry.
