During a Hatzolah conference in Israel this week, Lubavitch members were noticed by other participants for their non-stop Mivtzoim efforts.
Throughout the 3 day conference, which included crisis and disaster training at army bases with the cooperation of the IDF, Lubavitch volunteers made sure to encourage all they met to put on Tefillin.
Numerous IDF soldiers took advantage of the opportunity, donning Tefillin and reciting the Shema.
During one of the day’s events, Hatzolah members Yossi Malamud and Chanan Feldman were seen doing push-ups during a workout session.
A soldier standing nearby challenged them – I’ll put on Tefillin for a single day for every 10 push-ups you do.
They happily obliged, managing to do 70 push-ups, leading the soldier to agree to put on Tefillin for the next 7 days.
