Mrs. Zlata Serebryanski, a beloved mother and grandmother from Melbourne, Australia, passed away on the 17th of Elul, 5783.
She was 85.
A true ashes chayil, Zlata built a home that supported Torah and mitzvos, and dedicated her life to supporting her husband, Reb Arel Serebyanski, and his peulos.
She played an integral yet background role, to the work of Merkos, Mikveh Chaya Mushka, Merkos Women seminary, and Cheder Levi Yitzchak. Her home was a wellspring for Torah learning. She opened her home to host various Torah institutions to come and learn, as well as to guests from all backgrounds.
She impacted many in her own unassuming way. She had a nature of kindness and a heart that was always giving. She was always encouraging those around her to do more and make Moshiach come.
She was predeceased by her husband, Reb Arel Serebyanski, in 2019.
She is survived by her children: Zev Serebryanski – Brooklyn/Melbourne, Levi Serebryanski – Detroit, MI, Yossi Serebryanski – Denver, CO, Rochel Lipskier – Melbourne, Mendel Serebryanski – Kingston, PA, and Hendel Serebryanski – Melbourne.
She is also survived by many grandchildren and a great grandchild.
Shiva will be held in Melbourne at 118 Hotham Street.
Mendel Serebryanski will be sitting Shiva in Kingston, PA.

Tante Zlata had a heart of gold. Her home was a mini bais Hamikdash of Australia
She always had a listening ear and received every person with a friendly countenance

Reb Arel and Tante Zlata touched the lives of so many Talmidim and Talmudic enabling us to embrace the teachings and ways of Chassidus
