Mrs. Yenta (Lena) Barash, a longtime resident of Crown Heights, passed away Sunday, 24 Kislev, 5776.
She was a few weeks shy of her 98th birthday.
Mrs. Barash, (nee Rogatsky) arrived in America in 1961, from Krimenchuk, Ukraine. She was predeceased by her husband Laizer Barash obm in 1971.
She is survived by her son Rabbi Moshe Mordechai Barash of Crown Heights, grandchildren that are Shluchim in Prague; Jupiter, Florida; Naples, Florida and Hollywood, Florida and great-grandchildren.
The Levaya will take place today, Sunday leaving shomrei Hadas in Boro Park at 12:00 pm and passing by 770 at 12:45 pm.
Shiva will take place at 679 Montgomery St Apt # 2D
